Toward Cost Effectiveness, Reliable Interactive Content for Web Based Scientific Education

Project Member(s): Edwards, J., Brookes, W.

Start year: 2002

Summary: Currently the World Wide Web is a costly and unreliable medium for delivering educational scientific content due to the inadequacy of HTML for expressing interactivity and the lack of computational resources in support of scientific content. This project aims to create infrastructure for deploying and sharing computational resources in support of scientific content. In an ongoing collaboration with Cohen's group in the Netherlands, we will also define a language in which to write interactive content.
