Group decision support systems under fuzzy preference and fuzzy majority for multi-objective problems

Project Member(s): Lu, J.

Start year: 2002

Summary: Most real-world decisions in organizations are made by groups addressing multi-objectives. Further, decision makers often express their preferences imprecisely for alternatives and utilise fuzzy majority to judge group consensus in attempting to reach an optimal solution. The project is to address such multi-objectives group decision-making problems with allowance of group members' fuzzy preference and fuzzy majority judgement, to make decision models more human-consistent. The project will develop an interactive multi-objective fuzzy group aggregation method, and then develop a group decision support system which implements the method in its method base. These outcomes can be immediately used by suitable Australia organizations.
