Intelligent assistance for distributed enterprise processes

Project Member(s): Hawryszkiewycz, I.

Start year: 2002

Summary: Distributed business systems increasingly require people to collaborate and share knowledge in their work processes. Such collaborative processes evolve opportunistically by creating parallel and disconnected collaborative tasks, to meet organizational goals. This project will provide intelligent assistance to help users construct collaborative tasks, to meet organizational goals. This project will provide intelligent assistance to help users construct collaborative electronic workspaces and integrate them into business processes, thus reducing the time and cost to complete the process. It will do this by capturing and developing a knowledge repository about processes. A multiagent system will use this repository to choose object components to construct and change workspaces to meet business goals.
