Summary: The primary aims of this research are: - To develop discrete choice experiment (DCE) methods to model and measure community trade-offs for health states ('utility scores') for use in calculation of quality adjusted life years (QALYs) in economic evaluation; and - To provide utility weights that can be used in economic evaluation in the Australian context, and that can be compared with utility weights from other countries.
