Collaboration with IIT to Build a Research Network for Big Data Analytics

Summary: This project will enable the establishment of a long-term, cross-university international research network for big data and data science with key researchers at the Advanced Analytics Institute (AAI) at UTS and with the leading researchers and their research teams from several universities distributed in different regions in India including IIT and Anna University in Chennai, IIIT Hyderabad, and Amity Universities in New Delhi. The project will foster research collaborations on fundamental problems in big data, algorithmic breakthrough, and practical advances of data sciences by establishing an inter-disciplinary and cross-university research network. The project will facilitate the knowledge exchange of researchers from AAI and envisage long-term strategic collaborations in research, education and development of big data and data sciences between Australia and India.
