Summary: We are on the brink of a new era in wireless communications, brought on by the proliferation of wireless devices and the emergence of new types of communication systems. Among the most exciting, challenging and important communications problems today are those involving large-scale highly dynamic wireless networks, particularly wireless vehicular networks for autonomous vehicles. This project will develop scientific tools for the modelling and characterization of highly dynamic networks. On that basis, it will develop fundamental methodologies, built on a solid understanding of the characteristics of these networks, that provide architecture and communication strategies design principles and network management guidelines for these networks.
