Summary: The NSW State Library is interested in conducting research to ascertain the types of arrangements that are currently in place between Councils for regional or cooperative library services across NSW, and to explore other possibilities for management models e.g. cooperative models that Councils use for other services and functions that may also be appropriate for library services. UTS:CLG has been engaged by the NSW State Library to undertake this research. The proposed methodology for this research includes: * Project inception meeting * Document and literature review * Stakeholder engagement - stakeholder interviews and discussion paper and online survey * Case studies * Critical analysis * Reporting of recommendations and key findings.
