Women's reasons, perceptions and expectations of consultation with acupuncturists and use of acupuncture for menopausal symptoms - Student Wen Bo Peng

Project Member(s): Hickman, L.

Funding or Partner Organisation: Endeavour College of Natural Medicine

Start year: 2014

Summary: Most mid-age women need to seek medical advice for menopausal symptons. Acupuncture constitutes a popular treatment option. The proposed project will address the research gap by identifying the role of acupuncturists in the overal support from the patient perspective and exploring the underlying decision-marking process of acupuncture use for specific menopausal symptoms in Australia.
