Summary: The team was engaged by Waverley Council (Council) to research Council¿s current approaches to community engagement, and aspirations for future engagement practice. There was a recognised need to enhance Council¿s strong approach to community engagement through the development of a guideline for implementing `good practice¿ community engagement at the project scale. The team conducted a document review, telephone interviews, and workshops with Waverley Council staff and elected members in order to develop good practice, user friendly community engagement guidelines for Council.
