Summary: The objectives of the project are to: 1-The purpose of this research was to develop a method for identification of collagen type 1 on the basis of enzymatic digestion and peptide determination 2-Quantification of peptides and proteins in collagen type 1 using LC-MS. Method. 3-once the method will be developed at UTS, the method will be used to support on repair of injured discs following microdiscectomy in a sheep model 4-The contributions of UJTS would be acknowledged by co-authorship of any publications arising from the projects.
