Summary: Develop power-optimal algorithms for mobile phone devices to increase contextual-awareness in city landscapes taking maximum advantage of on-board sensor and beacon infrastructure based on new Bluetooh Low Energy networks. Additional granularity afforded by these networks of devices and widespread signals (mainly indoors) is an attractive proposition for marketing-revenue driven mobile companies such as Yahoo.
