Summary: Interpretive Wonderings is a research project that explores performative strategies within interdisciplinary spatial practice. The research will take place within a workshop and corresponding exhibition that invites indigenous and non indigenous participants to map material and immaterial qualities of an 8000 hectare property in Rural NSW titled Culpra Station. The funding of $9500 allocated for this 'Open Entry' by the Mildura Arts Centre is to cover artists fees for 20 mapping participants at $500 each. The additional moneys required to produce this project is being sourced from a number of other organisations each will have its own 'Open Entry'.
