Summary: There has been an increasing research focus on the impact of bullying and racism on the emotional, social and educational well-being of Aboriginal youth. Underlying theory though is limited by a lack of clarity as to whether bullying and racism are distinct or highly related interpersonal stressors, and it is the position of this research that the possibility of such confusion may impact upon the very foundations of effective actionbased research promoting resiliency for Aboriginal youth. This research will address this uncertainty through careful symbioses of valued Indigenous and cross-cultural research methodologies, ensuring that the diverse voice of Aboriginal identities will be heard.
