Patient Experience in Health Care

Project Member(s): Saunders, C.

Start year: 2016

Summary: If I were to obtain a UTS ECR grant it would mean that I could conduct the necessary 2-3 pilot investigations (and write the associated publications) that would be expected by a national funding body ahead of a major grant application. These pilot studies include a comparative review of the literature on longitudinal primary care practice research in Australia and internationally; a systematic review of patient experience measures relevant to Australian primary health care settings; the qualitative development and early testing of draft instruments for a variety of contexts (e.g. rural, regional, urban, large, small etc.); pilot testing to identify mode of delivery, health organisation capacity, how the results might be communicated and support improvements.
