The methodology included a desktop review of national and international research into attitudes and perceptions towards biosolids, and stakeholder and community education, engagement and communication strategies for biosolids; in-depth interviews with 80 stakeholders (i.e. councils, farmers, environmental and resident groups etc.) across NSW; and seven case studies of different approaches to managing and changing stakeholder and community sentiment towards biosolids reuse.
