Summary: This research uses best evidence, theoretical knowledge and stakeholder input to implement an online digital health solution for people with communication disorders after traumatic brain injury (TBI) and their caregivers. It aims to 1) preserve the therapeutic content of an efficacious telehealth intervention but 2) enhance the delivery mechanisms through a time-effective, worldwide, asynchronous online platform, 3) examine the benefits of integrated peer group support through online peer interaction tools, and 4) combine this with knowledge of how the implementation could be scaled up in a manner that is feasible and accessible for people with TBI, their caregivers and clinicians.
