Start year: 2020

Summary: This project aims at evaluating the impact of connected and electric vehicles by making use of an integrated approach of transport and energy modelling. The central purpose is to build a proof of concept study which connects robust fine-grained local transport simulation with local energy system modelling to power deeper EV impact studies. The final objective is to build and test different EV scenarios and explore the emergent effects of local EV patterns on medium-voltage distribution networks and the consumers they service.
