Summary: Artificial intelligence (AI) is a prominent solution for emerging complex systems in various domains due to its agile capability of dealing with big data, complexity, high dynamics. The recent advances in deep learning, convolutional neural networks, and reinforcement learning hold significant promise for solving intractable issues in future communication systems such as dynamic spectrum access, cyber security, as well as service efficiency and flexibility. This thesis aims to develop novel AI-based solutions to address these problems.
