Summary: Roads to Home is a program initiated by the NSW Department of Planning, Industry and Environment (DPIE) to upgrade planning and infrastructure requirements within former Aboriginal Missions and Reserves of NSW as a means to address infrastructure and service inequality. Ten Aboriginal communities across NSW have been selected as part of a pilot study. Exploring how planning and infrastructure upgrades can address the legacy of infrastructure and servicing inequality experienced in discrete Aboriginal communities, this research evaluated the social impact of implementing Roads to Home within Gulargambone & Bowraville Reserves.
