Summary: This project involve pilot demonstration of an off-grid solar powered CDI desalination demonstration in Tuvalu. The tasks include design of a pilot system and then operation and monitoring to evaluate the technological performance analysis and conduct economic assessments of the new technology and to finally recommend the Government of Tuvalu on the suitability of a larger and full-scale CDI desalination technology to address water shortange during the times of severe drouht.
