National Heart Foundation of Australia
Start year: 2020
Summary: A new strategic planning cycle will begin in early 2020 with the intention to further solidify the organisation’s vision and strategic priorities. Through a number of strategic conversations, UTS and NHF have developed a commitment to forge a mutually-beneficial partnership focused on research, knowledge exchange and delivering impact back into our communities. The UTS Centre for Business and Social Innovation (CBSI) and Design Innovation Research Centre (DIRC) will work in partnership with the National Heart Foundation (NHF) on a research project involving two phases conducted over four years. This proposal outlines a pathway forward for this partnership, highlighting the intent, governance, resourcing and potential outcomes. This includes a short-term phase to co-design a research roadmap and then a longer-term partnership based around a Core Project Team and PhD student contributions, drawing in broader research expertise from across the university. This will be supported by an MOU document. PARTNERSHIP OUTCOMES: Research, knowledge exchange and delivering impact back into our communities
