Summary: The objective of the Cathode Precursor Production Pilot Plant – Stage 2 project is to establish a technical and processing capability in Australia that can produce cost effective, high-quality, high-nickel nickel-cobalt-manganese (NCM) precursor cathode active materials (PCAM) with different compositions, particles sizes and morphologies on a production scale, whilst minimising processing wastes.
