Summary: UTS proposes a 2.5 month project running from September 2021 to December 2021 to create a detailed technical review of the state of the art in machine learning based computer vision techniques as applied to point clouds used in GIS (Geographic information Systems) applications. This includes the processing and extraction of knowledge from point cloud datasets created by LIDAR and aerial/satellite photogrammetry.
