Summary: The focus of the project is to develop a solution for restraining the head of a cow, whilst in a crush, for the purpose of taking a breath sample. The sample is taken using the Agscent handheld device and the time needed to take a sample is approximately 10-15 seconds. Any design solution must be able to be retro fitted to existing crush systems. The design must allow for safe, easy and effective use of the handheld device by the operator. The design should consider existing crush materials and manufacturing techniques.
