Summary: The project aims to develop a new multiple pencil beam antenna system, taking advantage of CIs' game-changing inventions in lens antennas, 3D printed antennas and arrays and antenna feeding network. A dual-polarised antenna array architect will be used for enhancing the sensing image quality and resolution, which will enable the disinfection robots to precisely recognise human presence and movement behind obstacles and walls for rapid and safe disinfection in public spaces. The project will have an immediate socio-economic impact on local business and communities. The outcomes of the project will create a safer public environment for people living and working in Australia and boost economic recovery in the post-pandemic period.
