Summary: The primary goal of this data linkage study is to examine long-term healthcare service use and costs in the years following allogenic BMT. The study will analyse health care utilisation and costs for which routinely collected data (in state and commonwealth datasets) are available in BMT recipients who underwent the procedure between January 2006 – December 2016. The research will be conducted using the following administrative datasets: Australasian Bone Marrow Transplant Recipient Registry (ABMTRR), Medical Benefits Schedule (MBS), Pharmaceutical Benefits Scheme (PBS), NSW Admitted Patient Data Collection (APDC), NSW Emergency Department Data Collection (EDDC), NSW Central Cancer Registry (CCR), NSW Register of Births Deaths and Marriages – Deaths (RBDM).
