The role of the osteopath and naturopath in preventive health behaviours in the community: an explanatory sequential mixed methods study

Summary: This study will investigate the preventive health experience and engagement of naturopaths, osteopaths and their patients. The design - employing explanatory mixed methodology - has 3 stages. (1) CROSS-SECTIONAL ONLINE SURVEY examining approaches to supporting patient preventive health behaviours; (2) CROSS-SECTIONAL ONLINE SURVEY to examine patient experience of CM clinical encounters related to preventive health behaviour; (3)ONLINE FOCUS GROUPS(FGs) will purposively sample respondents from respondents to Stages 1 and 2 to share their explanations and understanding of the patterns and trends arising from the survey data.
