Summary: Understanding human activities and predicting human intent are challenging tasks. This project aims at developing AI-based methods to analyse spatio-temporal patterns of human intent and activities using video sequences. The expected outcomes of the project include automated detection of abnormality for surveillance and public security applications, automated compliance of hygiene and food safety by analysing food handlers behaviours etc.
