Summary: This project aims to develop and validate fundamental theory and pioneering multi-beam and beam-steering transmissive and reflective antenna arrays for wireless systems. Advanced engineering methodologies will be developed to address the related technical challenges. The expected outcomes are multi-beam antenna supporting frequency and polarization-multiplexed communication and mechanical reconfigurable two-dimensional dual-beam steering systems with continuous scan capability over a wide angular range. The developed low-cost and near-passive antenna will significantly improve the information capacity of the wireless network, providing reliable and highly secure wireless communication
