Summary: The project will be using longitudinal NSW child protection data from 2010 - 2021 to investigate the implementation of the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander child placement principles for Aboriginal children in Out-of-Home Care (OOHC) and for children placed on final order who are not restored to their Aboriginal parent/s. The project will also study continuity of cultural contact for Aboriginal children and young people in OOHC or who are placed on final orders with third parties.
