Ecological society of Australia (Holsworth Wildlife Research Endowment)

Start year: 2023

Summary: My research will identify resilient alpine plant species to inform targeted conservation and management for alpine systems under climate change. During the year of funding, I aim to develop a realistic thermal tolerance methodology to be adopted in the simulated heatwave experiment. This experiment will improve our understanding on the impact of cumulative heat load on alpine species and their capacity to recover during extreme heatwaves.
