Start year: 2023

Summary: This project aims to identify key dimensions of a framework for individual redress and social repair of reproductive violence against women with disability. The project will identify existing administrative schemes worldwide for: individual redress and social repair of: (a) reproductive violence against women with disability, (b) reproductive violence against other marginalised communities, (c) eugenics, and (d) gendered violence. Identified schemes will be analysed for aspects of good and bad design and practice, particularly in relation to inclusivity, accessibility, and intersectionality. Based on the analysis a series of recommendations will be provided. Project outputs: (a) journal article targeted at a feminist law journal, and (b) briefing paper on redress.
