Summary: The Next Generation Graduates Programs provide students opportunities to collaborate with universities and subject specialists nation-wide. The NGGP is part of a broad partnership across the NSW Department of Education, leading researchers in data science from the University of Technology Sydney, and leading researchers in the social sciences from the University of Western Sydney and the Australian National University, to develop new methods for AI for social good. This program offers students industry placement at the Department of Education to gain real-world experiences and be job ready. Beyond a generous stipend, this scholarship provides students with additional funds for training. Additional top-ups are available to support students experiencing personal hardship or other educational barriers which can make it difficult to access and succeed in tertiary education.
