PNG Natural Seafood - Macroalgae Product Development

Summary: This project seeks to support process development strategy developed by PNG Natural Seafood for the industrial scale production of macroalgae at their PNG by assessing utilisation of the macroalgae biomass remaining after wastewater treatment for use in other products and/or services. The project will involve a collaborative approach to research, with a strategic phased research plan including desktop assessment, collaborative selection, techno-economic analysis, and recommendations.
