BTP - Stage 2 - IntelliForce Tooling - Innovations in Hydraulic Tooling Safety and Usability

Summary: This project continues the "BTP - Stage 1 - Enhancing Safety through Intelligent Hydraulic Tooling" initiative. Following the success of Stage 1, this phase focuses on refining the prototype to enhance reliability, user interface, and safety features. Key objectives include integrating RFID technology to prevent equipment mismatches, redesigning the handheld device for improved usability, and introducing advanced safety mechanisms like dynamic feedback controls and bi-directional pump control. The project also aims to develop robust electronic documentation for compliance and scalability, implement a local web interface for system management, and explore extended reality and haptic feedback technologies. Field testing and user feedback will guide iterative improvements. The anticipated outcome is a more sophisticated, reliable, and user-friendly system that enhances safety and operational efficiency across BTP Group's service centres, reducing accident risks and ensuring compliance with industry standards.
