SAFE-MEALS: SAfe Food, Enjoyable MEals, Advocacy and Lived experiences

Summary: This is a National Disability Research Partnerships (Australia) Round 1 Grant Application. The focus of this grant is on co-design and development of pilot data and trial of methods/risks of a project investigating the safety of meals for people with swallowing disability in residential support services. It involves a collaboration with Onemda and with Melba Support Services, and collaboration with subject matter experts (consultant Jeff Chan) and engagement with people with lived experience of disability impacting on their swallowing and safety/enjoyment of meals.
