Master Services Agreement - Biotoxin Analysis - Sydney Institute of Marine Science (SIMS)

Start year: 2025

Summary: Master Services Agreement with Sydney Institute of Marine Science for the provision of biotoxin research and analysis services, including method development. The University of Technology Sydney (UTS) and the Sydney Institute of Marine Science (SIMS) have established a formal collaboration to support ongoing biotoxin analysis in marine environments. This partnership is governed by a Master Services Agreement that outlines the terms under which UTS provides Liquid Chromatography–Mass Spectrometry (LC-MS) services to SIMS for the method development, detection and analysis of marine biotoxins, particularly in shellfish and seawater samples. Under this agreement, SIMS may request analytical services from UTS by submitting a Statement of Work (SOW), which specifies the scope, deliverables, and fees for each project. UTS then performs the requested LC-MS analysis and delivers raw data, reports, and other outputs as defined in the SOW. This initiative supports SIMS’s research and monitoring efforts in marine biotoxin detection research and method development, contributing to public health and environmental safety.
