A stability analysis of parametric phase-locked subharmonic tunnel-diode circuits capable of bistable phase operation has been made. A new type of computer-produced stability-chart plot shows regions of amplifications for desired harmonics used in directional-flow logic circuits, to allow design for subharmonic pumping. © 1967, The Institution of Electrical Engineers. An alternative derivation of the linkages discussed by Dimentberg and Yoslovich is given. This derivation has led to the discovery of a generalized class of overconstrained spatial linkages, of which those of Dimentberg and Yoslovich are special cases. It is also shown that a family of multiloop linkages which has similiarities with the family of planar linkages can be derived from these generalized linkages. © 1966.
